Springfield XD sub compact problem

I have a problem with my Sub compact mag with the pierce finger extension. The mag will not seat well in the gun. Does anyone have the same problem? It seems to be only with my gun with the pierce finger extension. I sent it back to Springfield but the problem still accrues, so I filed the extension down and seems to work a little better, but not to my standards. Any other Ideas?

the extension is causing the problem. It was not designed properly. Ditch the extension.
