    Help! Glock slide won't close!

Said as much as I could think of when I took the video. Please watch and diagnose and suggest remedy if you can.

This happened when I was installing the Ghost Rocket 3.5 connector. It happens the same when the connector is in or not. Also the same when the bbl and spring are in place or removed.

Reset your trigger? Why aren't the other pins in the gun?

Tried with the trigger cocked and decocked. I had the pins out to make the changes to the connector. This was also tried with and without the pins installed.

LOL! Turn the gun around so we can see the other side!

Looks like it stops at the point the butt of the recoil guide rod meets the take down lever. Does it stop at the same point when you try it without the barrel? If you get the same problem without the barrel try checking the safety plunger.

Sometimes it's the fit of the aftermarket barrel- try putting the slide on with the stock barrel. Try pushing harder as if you are racking the slide to chamber a round. If that doesn't work then take it apart and see if you put something else in the wrong place.

Thanks for the help guys. It looks like this will remain a mystery because whatever the problem was has wiggled itself back into spec. Looking forward to trying it out tomorrow.
