Engraving completed 80% lower

Just finished my 80% lower. Looking to get a deep engraving and then anodize. Does anyone know where I can get my engraving work done? Just call indent and they would not engrave it since it is completed. I am in the Bay Area/ Sacramento

in case you didnt know
since its completed it is a firearm and the work must be done by someone with proper FFL

OR

find somewhere willing to do it while you wait in their shop for services to be done both are 100% legal options

Thanks, I knew that already. The place I planned on doing it through, Indent,has their FFL but they won't do it since its "a grey area" as "they will be manufacturing the firearm." (Even tho it is completed and just need engravings).

o ok wasnt sure if you knew it or not . I would just call around and ask other shops or places that engrave sports trpphys Ive had a few done a a trophy shop no ? asked .
there is no gray area that these people are talking about its no diff then if they were painting it or doing trigger work you can only make a 80% into a firearm once lol

this place charged $20 engrave when I went just call ahead and make a appt they well set it up so you can have it done while you wait

I am looking for a deep (pre anodize) engraving like the stag engraving.

I called around to a few trophy places, and they "do not have the tools to engrave aluminum." they said their machines were CO2 operated and would only cut through a coating/ painting. They even mentioned after anodizing would work... however I want to get my lower engraved prior to anodizing so it is completely covered in ano...

Yeah I didn't understand it either... if they would be considered the "manufacturer" then I technically do NOT have a "firearm" right now, and only a "piece of metal." I thought these "home built" guns were more common, and the knowledge was more widespread...
