Seekins 20MOA Base Question

I have a Seekins 20MOA base for my Savage 10FP/FCP, and I'm needing to retap my receiver to 8-40 screws..

Do I need to enlarge the base holes to fit the larger screws? There seems to be a bit of free play with the current screws so I was hoping to not have to bore out the base holes.

Do most quality rails (Badger, Seekins, ect) have large enough holes to fit 8-40 screws without opening up the holes?
