I have not done this build yet so my advice is nearly worthless.
That said, you will need a receiver and a barrel wrench. If your fairly good with machining you can build your own:
If you don't want to build them yourself there is a guy on falfiles that sells them for a decent price.
What kit did you get? What receiver are you going with?Comment

Really don't even need any machining skills. Fun build that you can do with just a couple specialty tools. Worse case you may need to take some material off the shoulder of the barrel to get it hand timed correctly. You can use a sanding wheel sandwiched between the barrel and receiver to keep things square and remove material.

Some pin gauges, go/no go, barrel/receiver vise, heavy-duty bench vise, and some time.
Go slowly, read through FALFiles carefully - lots of good info there.
I'm guessing you have the complete kit less locking shoulder and the upper receiver?
Were you planning to keep it battle field pickup look or blast and refinish?It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

If you have a large set of drill bits, you can use those instead of pins too.

Not really, drill bits will get you close. But you really should have something in .001" increments.Comment

Correct.
I'd toss in an extractor removal tool...extractor needs to be removed from bolt before you do headspace.
Forget the no-go gage and replace it with a field gage.
As others suggested, check the fal files...shouldn't be hard to find a builder with good reverences in socal.
Post pics when done, including targets.
