                  Colt 6940 setup. I'd imagine they use something similar on the 6940P too.

                      URX barrel nut has rounded wrench flats.
                      Colt 6940 has square.
                      Tapered collar on extension, index slot on bottom....
                      Nut is Colt 6940.

                        OH, on that thought, does that mean you have the tools to do 6940 barrels, and can put a 6940 extension on a 3rd party barrel?

                            I dont have the tools for 6940, but now that you mention it, maybe I should make the special nut tool before I send this barrel back to its owner!
                            It should be no problem to take apart a 6940 barrel and fit a new barrel into the 6940 extension and folding FSB.
                            I measured and made drawing the 6940 extension for my files.
                            The length is the same as a standard AR extension.
                            A standard barrel extension wrench will remove and install 6940 extensions.
