Does anyone know what the correct firing pin spring for a 5" SA 1911 in 45 is? I ordered a Wilson Combat "Plus" spring, but when it arrived I noticed that it is shorter than the original factory spring (with about 5k rounds).
The spring seems to work (dry fire and function test), but I am leery of using it with live rounds. I know that the SA firing pin is a 38 super pin, but I thought all the springs were the same.
