    Remember this old Winchester?

    I still need to make/find/buy a rear sight but here it is today:





    I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, used it as fill in between builds. I found 80% wood from a seller on Ebay and a 10 shot mag at Bob's Gun Parts in Arkansas for $35. The receiver was very heavily rusted on the left side, I used PB Blaster and a razor blade to scrape the build up down to the metal. I glass beaded all the metal parts before parkerizing and left the finish flat to hide the pits I couldn't sand out.

    Now I need to make some ammo for it, .351 Winchester SL isn't exactly easy to find. I bought a bag of .357 max brass and just ordered some .352 sized lead from a seller on GB.

    I have about $200 wrapped up in the wood and mag and I paid $80 plus shipping for the "parts gun".
