    stuck dust cover

I recently purchased a Century PAR-1. I removed the dust cover and replaced it no problem, but now it's jammed/stuck? any suggestions short of taking it to a professional?

Gently rapp with rubber mallet. Try different sides and angles. Don't bend and multilate it. If no rubber or palstic hammers use soft wood to protect it from SMALL ball pien hammer.

Spraying with WD-40 helps. Remember one angry bash with rock - steel pipe - Large ball pien hammer and you will live with that dent forever. How will it look and fitt after you get it off is worth another 5 minutes of carefull jockeying back and forth,
