    Obrez build question

Well I've been looking around at this a bit online and seen that the only way to legally do this in CA is to have the receiver cut to BATFE specs and then rewelded as a virgin receiver. I was wondering if anyone has done this on here and if you did, how exactly did you do it? I've ran out of projects and decided this could be an interesting next one.

    Search CGN for "cockweasel."

      Interesting name...

I didn't find anything on CGN but I did find it on Youtube:

I didn't hear him mention where he got it done, anyone know a gunsmith who could do it near LA/Bakersfeild and for how much?

Ah, that's right - he spelled it "weasle," rather than "weasel."

Try searching for "cockweasle" instead. There's rather a lot of info there.

If I remember correctly, he did it himself, or with some minimal outside assistance. He's connected with an FFL-07.

Still couldn't find anything. Could you post a link to the thread? Thanks

Here you go. This is Ajax22's build.
