    Gsmith Recommendation for Scope Mount

I'd like to have a scope mounted on my Mossberg 44US using the original mounting specs:
Drill Spec Sheet for M22 Mounts
    Receiver outside diameter = .925"
Scope mount screws 10 x 32 TPI use 13/64 clearance drill
Angle of screw holes = 50 degrees
Center of first screw = 1.437" from front of receiver
Center to center of scope mounting holes = 1.658"
All measurements taken from OFM engineering flats

I'm looking for a gunsmith recommendation to do this job perfectly, the first time, near Sacramento.

Well I'm not near sacramento but I do make High end custom bases and rings
    Check my link in signature.

BTW you are using the wrong screws or someone fouled up your mount. base screws are 6-48 or 8-40, never 10-32 they will shoot loose

Some of the 44US rifles were drilled and tapped from the factory and some were not. This 1943 example is in excellent condition, but not drilled for the scope mount. I have procured the scope mount from Havlins, but need to have it mounted in the same location as the factory drilled Mossbergs. The 10-32 screws are necessary to make the holes compatible with the factory drilled and tapped models that used 10-32.

I just looked up what a Mossberg 44US is and I don't think I can offer you a competitive price on a mount
