I love this gun, so I would appreciate help in fixing a problem that she's having. After firing, the spent hull is difficult to extract, to the point of needing to give the butt a little bump on the ground. Here is some more info:
-The chamber is clean.
-There is no problem cycling unfired rounds.
-I've recently replaced the extractors and springs.
-This problem occurs with high and low base shells.
-She's about 90 years old and she has not sat still. I've taken hundreds of pheasants with her in the 20 years I've had her and she was well used when I she came to be mine.
-I'm afraid that the chamber is out of spec, but don't have a gauge to check it. Though I'm not sure that I would be able to bring myself to check it...
Any thoughts?
