    Home build pistol clarifications

Hello all new to the forums, I have been doing as much research as I can in regards to my question but honestly deciphering the law let alone California law is mind boggling. I plan on building a carbon copy of a Ruger Mk ii (Semi auto 10rd 22lr pistol) entirely from scratch for entirely personal use that will stay in my possession until the day I die. It will obviously be built in legal configuration and such considerations. So is this legal? Sorry if I'm a broken record of a question but I just either need to be outright told yes, no or shown where in the law it is dictated. Thanks for any help.

Yep and go read up CPC 12125-12133 for perfect clarification.

You just need to build it as a single shot compliant pistol then you can convert to semi with no issues.
