Source for 10 round metal AK47 mags (relatively cheap)

These are grenade launching blank mags, but its pretty easy to remove the blank ammo block with a Dremel and carbide burr. Grind off the bottom connection with the burr and then bend the blocker piece back and forth until the top weld breaks. Done... Once the blocker piece is gone it works as a normal mag.

Contact the seller for buying multiples without the GL or blank adapter.

    Have fun!

I have bought a bunch of these. Apex used to sell them years ago, and I have also bought them from user 'WHAT' on gunbroker. They work great. Easy to remove the blank blocker without any noticable damage. I replaced the shorter blank round mag followers with standard metal mag followers though.

The best part about these mags are that they are true ten round mags. They are about an inch longer than the standard 5 rounders.

Do you "HAVE TO" change out the followers or will it work fine with the shorter blank round follower?

If you have to change them out, source for "new" ones?

          Thanks!

I fired a couple of mags worth through the one I converted without any problems.

If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.
