    Magpul CTR stock -pinned?

Pardon my ignorance if this is a dumb question, but is there a way to "pin" a Magpul CTR stock to make it a fixed stock for a featureless build?

    Thanks for all replies.

There was an article I just read a week or so ago on that subject. I dont remember where I seen it. It was a very simple deal I know- but did require some part removal and drilling/installing a roll pin. Should be a pretty basic deal to do. I'll continue thinking of where I seen it.

Ha, should have Googled first. Answered my own question.

        LOL op...
i pinned a CTR by using a paper clip and passing it through the hole on the release mech. there is a small hole. bent it upward and its covered, cant even see its there.

In the eyes of the law can you drill out the stock and screw in a bolt or screw that is lined up so that it ends up in one of the recessed circular holes in the buffer? Unless you remove that bolt/screw it's fixed or does the law specify it be permanent and completely non-reversable?

Not a lawyer, but if I remove two screws from one of my AKs I could remove the stock completely and the rifle would still be functional. That said I would think a bolt through the stock would be good to go.

I just drill a blind hole and put a roll pin in it.

+1 And good luck getting that paper clip bit out of that hole without tools or time if the leftover bits sticking out either side are sufficiently short enough. You'll break the lever before you bend that short piece of paper clip.
