1.5mm m70ab2 underfolder flat

Anyone got an extra flat? In a stupid rush and looks like I bent it on the 1mm jig instead of the 1.5mm a couple months ago when bending all my flats (OUCH. idiot) and Im starting to think Curtis might not be risking the money on a full order with what might end up happening with the state of our government?


If you have one, or know of anyone, please let me know...

There is no possible way you could have bent a 1.5mm flat on a 1mm die.
Now you could bend a 1mm on a 1.5mm die and have issues. but not the other way around.

How did you come to this conclusion??

ha ha ha, Just jumped to it, one side is taller than the other.. I cant even begin to tell you how, I dont remember to be honest, I was bending lots o flats that day Kerry, and when fitting the virgin trunion to the flat, I noticed that the left (5mm pin side) was about 1/8" higher than the right, I havent even taken the time to try to figure out why or how... Just assumed..

I still owe you your phone case, Maybe when I get some time (CBS is hosting the superbowl this year, yeah yeah, I get lots of extra work, but NO TICKET). I'll stop by, you can kick me in *** for taking so long to come by as well...

Thats exactly it.

Something slipped off the alignment pins. But either way it is trash.

No big deal on the phone case, you offered it so i'm not worried and well I think it's obsolete now anyway as I had to get a new phone my 4 took a dump and so now I have a 5.

If I got a ticket to the stuper bowl I'd sell it. That is its only value to me.

Glad I posted, I already admitted I was bending these moving faster than normal (read: late at night, doing too many at once). I got to thinking about my 'conclusion' and why I thought what I thought (regardless, I came to a conclusion too quickly and moved on too fast). So I grabbed the trunnion out of a box stored way up high and in back. And grabbed the flat, which I was focusing on the expanded trunion area buldges and noticed the bends along. The front channel were no where near as developed as they should be, tossed it back on the 1.5mm die and bent it the rest of the way, guess what snapped right into form. Too funny, I'm a dumbass just like the wife often tells me afterall.

Sorry about phone case, it won't fit on the 5, but soon I am told. I'll hit you up in pm when not issuing tapatalk and reading calguns on a 4" screen.
