    A5/Mod11 backwards safety??

    I was looking over my Model 11 and thinking of painting the groove on the crossbolt safety red...

    I noticed it seems like the safety is opposite of the normal red is dead.
    Is this something that is normal on these guns and I am just an unaware A5 newb?

      looks like the safety might have been swapped over for a lefty somehow.

          Are these trigger groups really hard to take apart?

                  So I tried fixing this and was unsuccessful
                  Got everything "back together" and knew there was a problem

                  I stopped when I realized I couldnt figure out the issue

                  quick trip to the gunsmith got it all back together

                  Lesson learned for myself, dont screw with an A5 trigger group
