    Reprofiling ar15 barrel.

I just got a cmmg 300 blackout barrel. Pistol gassed 16" . .936 gas block.

Would turning down the gas area down to .750 and dimpled be thinning the barrel too much for a .308 bore?

How much would re profiling it costs? Less refinishing.

Contact Adco Firearms. They have done many barrels for me and always been fast with great work. By fast I mean one week turnaround.

      I can do it too.
      While-you-wait service for walk-in customers.
$75 for a full barrel reprofile or $40 for partial barrel profiling.

You were the first to come to mind. Too bad I'm couple hundred miles away. I've already ordered a troy .936 so hopefully this will fit under my rail. According to my measurements, I will have less than 1/8th of free float around the gas block which should be plenty. Might have to do a little sanding of the front set screw.
