Gas block?

I'm in the process of putting a psl together and I'm turning down a mosin barrel for this project. My ? Is are the yugo m72 gas blocks from the center of the piston hole to the center of the barrel hole the same as a psl? My goal is to leave as much meat as I can on the barrel. From what I have seen the m72 gas block barrel hole is .808 and the psl is alot smaller around .610
