Tapco double hook trigger group question

From reading I quickly realized the Tapco double hook AK FCG was a popular option for builds, giving a better fcg as well as 922r compliant parts.

Has anyone encountered issues of the trigger not releasing the hammer when pulled? I installed the fcg correctly, but when I squeeze the trigger, the hammer hangs up on the very tip of the hooks, like either the hooks are too long or there's not quite enough trigger travel available for the hooks to disconnect and release the hammer.

I figure its most likely an issue of being slightly off on a pivot pin hole or something of that sort, I imagine that's a fairly common occurrence with an 80% receiver build.

Would there be an issue with slightly filing down the hooks to ease that last little bit? The hang up is at the very end of the trigger travel and there's plenty of hook engaging the hammer.

Disregard. Figured out that a double hook trigger group requires a double hook cut in the trigger opening of the receiver, as the standard template layouts are for single hook groups.

You can cut one of the hooks off to make it work in a standard receiver. I've done that in the past...
