    Need an AK barrel shorten

Well, I need an AK47 barrel and gas system shorten down abit for an AK pistol build. Any idea, if any Calgunner can work on this?

I'm in the SF Bay Area.

    Thanks

I don't know of anybody on here doing that kind of work. My pistol kit is being machined by restoreit01 on arfcom, his e-mail is restoreit1@comcast.net and he has been good so far.

if you move the gas block you have to mod the h/g.

not true, only the upper handguard retainer has to be removed, the gas tube flared out and made round instead of the star pattern, then you flare out the handguard retain and re-weld in place.

Thats if you go with that style shown above, the barrel comes out around 11-12" long.

Heres one i did without re-welding on the upper handguard retainer, but i left on the lower one un moved.

We're not done yet, we're not going quietly. We'll win in the end.
