I have been considering building an HK91 for some time and was planning on attending a build party for HK type rifles, but ended up building an Romanian AK. The time has come for my next project and I wanted to build an AR pistol, but GSE is completely sold out and has a 2-3 month back order. I found some pretty nice G3 kits with new US barrel and I know of a couple sites to get the receiver flat and weld supports. I want to find someone who has a jig and could help me build the rife. I would be extremely greatful and more than willing to pay for the time and knowledge. I have a basic idea but have never build one and I know build parties are far and few between for these type of rifles. If anyone is willing to help, please contact me and we can work something out. I would really like to acquire one of these before the kits are all gone. Thanks and happy shooting/building

Right on sounds great! much appreciated. I want to contact someone to help me out before I purchase the kit and receiver. I already have the money on hand and the websites laid out as to where to get a great condition kit with new US barrel and a website with the receiver and weldament kit.Comment

I got in contact with Roccobro and its gonna cost roughly $350 to assemble. Not bad considering the PTR91 is about $1000. Is anyone else around the San Diego area that can build one of these rifles correctly? If Im gonna do this over a Krink kit I want to be sure that it is done by a professional. but of course I will have to do a fair amount of work to ensure that it is built legallyComment

If you just want the upper assembled, this guys does beautiful work. But he is backed up for months. Well worth the wait though. And a cool dude.

The cheap one is Cetme. The 2nd one is HK but that seller has been trying for months to sell it. Seller was asking $480 for the longest time and no one wanted it. Mostly I believe it's the TC barrel that nobody wanted.Pretty much hard to come by right now but Robert RTG and Gunbroker to start. Here are a couple...

TC barrels have the reputation (deserved or not) of having shallow chamber flutes which are required for ejection.Comment
