No odor. I would be careful about drips. I did it on my patio and used a camp stove's for heat and stainless steel buffet pans. I know a few guys that use a glass pan on their kitchen stove for small parts. Cleaning is important. I had a few parts that I didn't like the finish on so I reblasted them and reparked them while the tanks where hot. They did fine the second time.
