I had eluded to a concept on how to create a better siaga style trigger that would eliminate the crappy trigger pull and give us back our high caps with out a grip wrap.

Now this is just a prototype and i do need to make some adjustments to the dimensions but this is the concept


Linkage between the triggers eliminates slop and has a very positive feel.

So what I found out is it will work but the current location of the linkage is to high. So i need to cut a pocket out on the triggers, weld in a new piece of steel and have the linkages located just above the axis pin hole center line. Right now they are located to high.
Outside of the trunnion hitting the linkage the trigger feels the same as stock.
I'm going to give this another go and have something to test over Christmas.

I don't know about you but one huge reason to move the trigger forward is to restore the balance and shorten the overall length. I love the MMG, weld a tab to the selector and your ergos go up.

The balance issue is there no doubt about it. I did this because I don't like fins on pistol grips. everyone was complaining about the trigger pull on a saiga but apparently no one took a good look at the trigger if all that was wrong with the trigger is interference with the disconnector that should be and by the video is easy to fix

I just wonder why more people haven't tried it on the AK. It's really comfortable and with the tab on the selector makes for a fast handling gun.

I am the solver of problems. and when a problem presents itself sometime it bugs the hell out of me until it's solved.
But you're right I should focus on the bigger projects that actually have a future in returning funds to my pocket.
And for a man thats walked in the tall grass My shop is always open for you sir.
