    rear trench sight
By this do you mean the non adjustable built in groove in the frame type. If that is it sometimes the front site can be timed sometimes not. If you could tighten the barrel to move the sight to correct. This might work, but if it needs to be loosened to correct then decide if it is worth having a Gunsmith look at it.

Thanks but don't want to take that chance. What about cutting a dove tail and installing a rear sight like those on the Tanfoglio and Excam said revolvers? And yes its that non adjustable notch type.

Bending the front sight is the accepted method. The front sight is not hardened and bends fairly easily. I used a padded vise to hold the barrel and a small crescent wrench to make the bend.

here's a calculator to determine how much to move the sight. you will probably be surprised at how little you need to move it.

sight correction, sight calculations, sight adjustments, sight change, point of impact, sight in,

        Good luck DR

It can be done with hand files but on an alloy frame I wouldn't. You are cutting deeply into an area that needs its strength. DR

Thanks didn't think about that but may not need any filing.Just found out that the Excam ta22 rear sight is held on by a screw.Could I drill and tap the frame for a Excam ta22 rear sight. Update! Here is the sight I am talking about.http://pictures.gunauction.com/casha...LVRS%20197.jpg
