    FEG SA 2000M questions

I got an opportunity to buy a FEG SA 2000M parts kit, and I have a few questions about it for those who still remember these.

    1. Will the regular AKM fixed stock flat work with these? They weren't built on 1.5mm receivers, right?

    2. What's the barrel length? Is it 18.5"?

    3. What's a reasonable price for such a parts kit, matching and in a very good condition?

    4. Any other info you're willing to share.

    Thanks,

Is an FEG SA 2000M much different than a AMD65?

Yes. For one, it's fixed stock.

This is what FEG SA 2000M looks like, when in stock form. I'm just getting the parts kit.

Well it's got a single stack mag & I'm assuming an avows cut to the rear of the receiver?

I remember those. They were basically SA-85Ms with a single stack magwell. If you're getting a kit form, then you're basically getting a SA-85M kit with plastic furniture and butthole stock. My guess is it's worth $400 as-is or find some Hungarian furniture for it and it'll be worth $600+ on gunbroker (advertised as Hungarian parts kit).

Oh yeah, and the gas tube doesn't have the bayo lug so you'll know it's "post ban." The front sight is also different on the post ban guns.
