    Safety/fire selector question...

Quick question, but i cant seem to find the answer... With the hammer depresed on an ar-15, can you switch it back to 'safe'? or can you only switch it to 'safe' when the hammer is 'cocked'??

The selector will only move when the hammer is "cocked".

So when hammer is depressed, it stays on 'fire' right?

Go to arfcom & read the functional check info...it's on the build-it-yourself forum.

I want you to be sure also This is even more important w/ your first rifle.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!
