80% party and anodizing

I am in the sacramento area looking for anyone doing a build party. I have a few friends (5-6 lowers total) looking to complete their lowers. We are not opposed to driving a few hours to get them done. We will look at doing future builds by ourselves but want to see how the professionals do it first

Also anyone in the sac area have any input for anodizing places? We have tossed around the idea of doing a home anodize but I am still leaning towards getting it professionally done to get the hard anodize. I dont have a lot of experience with the quality of a level 2 anodize so I am a little leary of it.

I have been doing tons of research on both completing lowes and anodizing but I am still new at it and know some of it is personal preference.... So thanks for your input!!

If you do a group home anodizing, I highly recommend getting a metal container (alu) and some dry ice to keep the bath cool, I tried this and the results were very good, I used a 24v 15amp supply(I think that was the Amp rating)only down side was I only had a single lower and 4lbs of dry ice is expensive. but me and my boy had fun with the left over dry ice, so overall not a bad day.

Next time I plan on getting a few lowers lined up before ano

Croc4 - my only worry about a home ano is that iam very picky about things getting done right and I want my homemade guns to last for my kids and grandkids. I am leaning towards the professional ano just to get it deeper into the aluminum and having a little more protection.
