Arbor Press or Shop Press?

I'm in the market to buy a press for my brass forming (by using RCBS base form die). My original thought was to buy an 3 ton arbor press, but then I realized that I can buy 6-10 ton shop press (A frame or H frame) at almost same cost. So I need advise from you experts, please.

I occasionally work on motorcycles, but I will probably not make AK's from flat.

Please let me know if you know a store that I can shop / compare those presses in San Francisco Bay Area other than harbor freight tools.

Far more control with the hydraulic press; I'd find a 12-20 tonner if you work on bikes or cars. The Asian versions are cheap.

Call Al or Lance at Valley Tool in Milpitas. They can get you a decent Dake 10 ton hyd. press.

h frame definitely. hf has presses on sale this month.
