Type 2 Anodizing

So I couldn't find anyone near by who type 3 anodizes, so does anyone near Stockton type 2 anodize? All I need done is my AR lower.

Type 2 is very soft compared to 3.

But it is very hard to find a Type 3 anodizer.

I have been meaning to call up these 2 places but haven't had a chance. I have a batch or parts to be anodized as well. Not close to Stockton but in the Bay Area. Search for "Plating" shops, not just Anodizing.

And its type 3 you really want. Hard Anodize MIL-A-8625F AM1 Type III

Southern california plating does Type 3 and has an FFL. They are on national ave In San Diego you can mail your lower to them.

Cerakote it ....... cheaper and longer lasting than anodizing.

I should mention one was type II and I bead blasted it...... And the other is type II.

PM me or contact me via www.gunsmithdan.com and I can give you prices ..... but it is recommended that all the internal part for the lower are also Cerakoted because Cerakote is self lubricating on other Cerakote coated parts.
