I was looking to do a 1022 80% build. Is there anyone near concord that has done this before?

This thread mentions that he'll be doing 10/22's soon. Maybe if there's enough interest we can get something going with jason.Comment

10/22 80%
Not all that hard to do.
TM has them in stock now.
Best Prices on 80% lowers and fast shipping! Tactical Machining is the best source for 80 percent lowers, build kits & accessories. Our prices can't be beat.
Even saw a post from someone who had a CNC available but finishes one with only a hand held drill. Said it was functional but recommended using a drill press or a mill.
I used drill bits in increasing steps utilizing bushing guides. Only reamed the final sizing for the barrel.
Worked out fine but that was a few months ago and have not gotten to shoot it yet. Used all the old leftover takeoff items from previous upgrading projects......AR 15 tools.....

I've made some, they are fun and easy. The Tactical Machining jig is great now. I did get a reamer for the proper size barrel hole, but I don't think it's even needed. 10/22s are pretty damn resilient....Comment
