    Saiga Conversion Clearance Issues

Hi, so I recently finished a conversion for my Saiga 7.62x39mm. There is a problem though: my bolt carrier seems to be slamming into my hammer face, locking the action up. I have to force the gun into battery manually.

A Google search revealed that one other person had a similar problem:

    Before you ask, parts involved:
    -Tapco retainer plate
    -Tapco G2 trigger group

Everything else is from the factory or doesn't figure into the problem.

And yes, I did install everything in their original positions a la retainer pins. And I did shave 1.5mm off the right side of the hammer's base to admit a BHO.

    Two questions:
    1) Is this a common problem?
    2) Is there a solution to this problem?
    2a) Should I file/grind down the hammer a bit?
2b) Should I use the factory hammer?

Did you modify and reinstall the BHO? Every problem i had after my conversion was solved by modding this part quite a bit.
