HK build parties?

Haven't really heard of anyone hosting a build party for HK style rifles. I would like to find out if such a thing exists or am I hunting for sasquatch? I'm sure Im not the only one interested in such a party but doesnt seem like a lot of people build these guns. If anyone has a jig or built one, PLEASE pm me, I am extremely interested in assembling one!

Roccobro hosts an HK build party a couple times a year. He's in San Bernardino, so it would be a bit of a drive, but beggars can't be choosy.

The OP must not have search too hard. There's a HK build party hosted by Roccobro roughly every 3 months. The next one would probably end up in January.

thanks a lot ott1, I'm really glad to hear about a upcoming party, especially since it will give me time to get the kit and barrel. Its nice to know that people are into building these since they seem to be a little more pricey than most ak's. can't wait to attend that party and meet some of the people who are nice enough to steer me in the right direction.

It is well worth the trip to see roccoro-I am in norcal and he assited me with a build-very knowldegable.HK are tricky and expensive skill and experience are a valuable commodity.I wouldnt mind going back down to San Bernadino to finish another one let me know if you want to share travel costs-Jim
