I drilled and tapped one of my Saigas for a bullet guide. The hole isn't centered. I can get the screw started but it is cockeyed. Is there a way to fix this? Should I drill the hole in the bullet guide bigger or should I just put locktite on the screw and torque the $%$#@ out of it and force it in crooked but flush?

Is the hole in the trunnion crooked(at an angle as opposed to straight vertical), or just not centered? Don't force anything.

I fixed one for a calgunner not too long ago where the hole was straight, but not centered. Took a dremel with a carbide burr, and walked the hole in the bullet guide over till it matched up. then opened it up on top to accommodate the screw head. Not too difficult. Took about 15 minutes.

I ground down the outside edge of the guide and slid it over. There was no play side to side once installed
