    805 AR JIGS

read some threads but still cant decide. i want to get a accurate durable 80% jig kit but was looking for some input . which kit works with the widest variety of lowers and vice versa? im going to finish the pockets with a mill so im not so concerned about a jig kit ment for just a drill press.

i was really interested in the tactical machining jig but wanted to get some comments from people that have used this brand and what 80%ers can be used in the jig?

    any help is appreciated

The TM jig is great. I have both. The selector and trigger/hammer holes are steel sleeved. Found out if you use the top insert plates as the ultimate dimensions, you will be off by several thousands. You can not use them with the Quintin Defence lowers.

If you have access to a mill, you don't really need a jig- except maybe to better clamp the lower when you're milling it.

Get the cheapest one you can find.

The FCG holes are easy to drill, you can just mark them using a blueprint if you don't have a jig.

The TM jigs are just for that, TM. If you want to do anything other than their lowers, you need a taller jig that will be compatible with multiple brandings/makers.
