Rem 870 troubles

After adding tactical armour for customer , new fore end and grips. I put back together and put trigger assembly back in and carriage that lifts shell will not function. Gun is clean and oiled. No missing parts, it seems that bolt carriage is not pushing down on dog leg to make it go up. I am stumped . Any help will be great.

Sorry I am reading this several times over, and don't quite get "on dog leg".

Hopefully Aippi, will be logging in soon. Haven't seen an issue that he hasn't been able to make a good suggestion on.
