Free-float Barrel Nut dimensions??

I'm working on a design on a free-float tube, and looking at different barrel nut options. For those of you that have free float tubes that don't use standard barrel nuts: Noveske, Daniel Defense, Wilson Combat, and (dread) ATI.... or any others that I didn't list; can you do me a favor and post the barrel nut dimensions?
Diameter, end-to-end length, special threading etc. - feel free to throw in a pic if it aids in the description. I want to see which of these might work best for what I'm putting together. It's easier to tailor the attachment method to an existing nut than have a whole new nut design machined. ++ for Wilson Trim and Noveske NSR type that uses a standard hex.
Also- if any of you can, or know somebody in Nor-Cal / East Bay that can do CAD-CAM design or happens to have a CNC mill in their backyard...

All the info you need to know about a barrel nut is available right on your ar after you remove the barrel nut.
All the nut needs to do is hold the barrel into the receiver and allow the gas tube to pass through or over and into the receiver.
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS so you can make it any shape or size you like.

so, you want to design a new rail, but instead of using the standard barrel nut, you want to use a proprietary one from Noveske or DD?

May I ask why you don't want to make your design work with what should be considered as the industry "standard" barrel nut. I'm not even gonna ask about the logistics of purchasing a competing manufacturers barrel nuts for your customers.

Other than Troy there are only a few other designs that use a 'standard' nut; mainly because it wasn't intended for a free float tube. As for customers- I only have one and even though he's a jerk... I really like me. What's missing is the greater question of why build my own ?. What I want isn't available, and I'm not overly jazzed with the products that come close. Choices are limited to 4 or 5 designs, while the rest of the market is saturated with tacti-cool quad rails, most of which are (or should be) unneeded for the average gun owner.
The only CQB I routinely engage in these days is with kids and dogs who want to sit in my favorite spot during family movie time. Even when I used it for work, I never needed that many rails. Maybe some people do, and to each his own. That's the nice thing about the AR: it's versatile and has proven itself to be adaptable to purpose-built applications, which is what I'm working on now.
To cut my rant and get back to the reason for my inquiry-
Since what I'm working on isn't for anyone but me, I thought I might save myself time and trouble by using a commercially available bbl nut. Rather than have to go and buy one from every manufacturer (the logistics of which involve picking up a phone, or a few clicks of a mouse, which is more common that the telegraph and mule train these days) I thought I might ask folks to share the bbl nut data, so that I could make a practical design decision. Although I will say at this point, I haven't ruled out making my own barrel nut... steel slugs are surprisingly cheap, and as Randall said in his post - once basic function is covered, design options are limitless.

I made my own freefloat tube with scrap materials we had around the shop about 12 years ago.
The barrel nut is really trivial if you can ID thread to a shoulder.

Troy/vtac alpha uses a standard barrel nut, so does Samson/Rainier Arms. Maybe a few more I don't know about. I wanna see a triangular shaped ff handguard similar to the PRI but in a smaller diameter. That would be boobs
