Serious SKS issues! need help

I bought a Chinese sks that looks damn near brand new with all matching numbers. After cleaning out all cosmoline out of her I put her back together I rack the bolt and try to dry fire.....no pressure at all and the pin is already dropped, I try it again but this time I don't let the bolt close on its own, I gently slide the bolt close and try again, this time I feel a solid CLICK. OK this time it worked, now I rack the bolt again but this time I let it slam shut...mush trigger pin already released! Wtf!

So I disassembled it again and made sure all was assembled right and racked the bolt slowly and slightly taped the bold...CLICK! WTH is wrong with this thing?

I'm afraid a rather fun plinker is a rather dangerous firearm right now. I also noticed that the front sear(?) Is hitting the bolt when released, I'll take a picture as soon as I get home.

If anybody has any idea what's happening please let me know.

Uhhh looks like I'm sending it off, I just don't trust myself with this. It might be easy but I'll pay 70$ than risk damaging a 120$ trigger group

The "front sear" is the disconnector.The real sear is accesed by removing the pin that holds the magazine release.Your sear is sticking in the "fire" position.If this happens,when you fire the gun,it will be a runaway-full auto.Every time the bolt closes,the disconnector will fire the gun as soon as the carrier hits it.You need to remove the sear,and clean out whatever is jamming it up.If there are burrs or nicks in it,you need to correct that problem by polishing it or replacing it.Might want to look at the sear spring if the sear checks out(sear spring and magazine release spring are one in the same)It's not rocket science....Good luck

I'm waiting to see if I get a call back from the place I bought it from but if I don't then maybe I'll take a wack at it.

One quick thing you can try.

Assuming it was all gummed up and cosmolined...

Pull off the trigger pack.

HOSE the thing down with brake cleaner.

Jiggle everything

Hose it down with carb cleaner, solvent, or kerosene

Jiggle again, pull trigger, pull hammer back, etc.

Hose it down with WD40

Jiggle.

Wipe it off, and oil it up with gun oil of your choice.

If it was gummed up, this should fix your problem.

Well I contacted the seller and told him what was going on as soon as I paused he told me to bring her in and he will take care of it.

Jiggle everything

Hose it down with carb cleaner, solvent, or kerosene

Jiggle again, pull trigger, pull hammer back, etc.

Jiggle.

Wipe it off, and oil it up with gun oil of your choice.

If it was gummed up, this should fix your problem.

What I did was

Soaked in warm mineral spirits for 10 min

Brushed with tooth brush and sprayed with brake kleen

Soaked in spirits again

Boiled in water for 10 min

Sprayed with rem oil

Installed

Still doesn't work lol
