Just a quick question, my friends. I have never used a gunsmith, so I don't know any. I live in Solano county, and what I need is a thumb safety fitted on a 1911. My Colt came with ambi safety, and I don't like it. I have the part already, but of course it won't drop in. Who is a good 1911 smith somewhere near me? Sacramento area is fine, or even the bay area if necessary. Thanks.
