9 mm shell ejection problem please help

I have a star model 30m. its a 9mm semi pistol. The problem is when I shoot fast at about 1 round per second +/- the shell does not eject but the next round tries to load. If I shoot it slower say 1 round every 2 seconds it works properly. I keep the gun and the magazines very clean and lubricated.
This just started. I don't know if its the ammo or the magazines or a problem with the gun itself.
    Thanks for you help

Where does the round that tries to load get stuck at ... the ramp or behind/under the case that was not extracted?

This sounds like it could be a extractor or extractor spring issue also there is a chance it is a weak recoil spring screwing up the timing as well.

Remove the slide put a empty case up the breech face so that it is in the firing position and held by the extractor. Then hold the grip and rotated the pslide around in a circle motion while shaking the slide hard. If the empty case stays then try it with a dummy round or a loaded round and see if it stays. If either one falls out or slides down you have a extractor problem and if it stays then good chance the recoil spring is weak.

The only other problem that would cause this if magazine lips were to far apart out of spec. The test for that is push the round fully back from the bullet side with your thumb, then pushing straight up with the thumb see if the round comes out easy. If it does your lips are to wide and if it doesn't then might be one of the other 2 problems. The other test is with a loaded magazine slam the bottom on a hard suface and see if a round pops out, if it does the lips are to wide.

hope this helps and btw some pictures would help
