Win 1300 Defender double feed

Is there a way to fix the double feed issue (upon cycling one shell goes in the chamber and one shell falls out of the bottom of the action) with the win 1300 Defender? I've read on other forums of people sending 1300's with the double feed issue back to Winchester and they could not find any problem with them.

I had a similar problem but swapped ammo and never had a problem again.

If you haven't done it yet, might be time for a detail strip, clean, lube, and tightening everything.

Check the Magazine Throat for breakage.
