MP5 flat bending and welding question

Does anyone know where i can have a mp5 flat bent? i have contacted numerous places in my area and there is no one capable to bend one (all various reasons) but thought maybe someone here would know of a place in or around Ventura County.

You probably wont find anyone to bend it for you unless they are a manufacturer, but then you would end up having to dros it and pay tax and what not. It must be fully built by you yourself to be a homebuilt firearm

Not aware of anyone out that way. Contact Roccobro, make an appointment and come roll your flat and learn a thing or two in the process. It will take several visits to finish up, plenty of welds and careful checking in between.

You are correct. A helper after the receiver is already formed is just that. They can not turn the flat into a receiver for you, but any welding or other work once its gone beyond the BATF definition of a "receiver" is good enough.
