    Looking for milled ak47 dimensions

I'm working as a machinist in Roseville right now, and I'm looking for resources to make a milled AK receiver for a personal build. Does anyone know where one could find blueprints? Or even if anyone in the area owns a gun I could measure, that'd be even better. I can cough up a modest amount of cash for taking the time to let me fondle your AK too. The ideal model I'm looking for would be the polish milled variety, but if I can get specs off an arsenal or centurion that would work too. Thanks guys.

Why don't you build one on a folded receiver and design one from that. Thats the best thing I can suggest. As I've never seen a set of ordinance prints for one.

Prints are online I think, but if you want something to hold and measure consider buying a few cut up receivers.

+1 I've looked around online quite a bit already, I could bend up stamped blank ones all day but I want to take advantage of the CNC Mill I have access to. Ive heard all the stories about milled ones cracking under full auto, but I don't really care since it'll be a civi gun anyway, and I'll take the accuracy advantage. Plus it'd be a hell of a lot cooler to say you made yourself.

What do you mean by cut up?

demilled receivers are flame cut, sawed or crushed

Yeah I noticed they look pretty jacked up, not sure if Id be able to get exact enough dimensions off of it, but it would probably be helpful just to have a few as reference.. Isnt that pretty illegal to weld one back together though? Anyway, PM will be sent shortly, it'd be neat to check out what you have going on.
