hello i was looking for a Gunsmith around Merced or Turlock. I wanted to change out my A2 front sight to a gas block.......aNy help.

The OP was asking for the nearest gunsmith to his area ..... not how he should get his firearm to the gunsmith.

I have had customers driver 100+ miles as opposed to ship thier firearm because they don't trust the parcel services.

This is what directed my smarty pants comment to. I am very sorry if I upset you. I know the OP was looking for someone around his area, I was just clarifying what KC was saying.
