    front sight woes

I recently bought a new Ruger 22/45 5.5" blued target model

The front sight managed to wiggle itself loose
I removed the screw and saw that there is red loctite on the threads

How should I go about removing the red loctite?
What should I use to make sure it stays in place

    Thank for your help

I went ahead and did that

My plan was to torch off the red loctite, mix up some epoxy, red loctite on screw and epoxy on sight base...
