Safety for pre '64 Win M70

I recently aquired a pre '64 Win M70. Its a long action and I plan on using it for an old school build (pre M40 sniper rifle). It is missing its safety and I'm having trouble finding the replacement parts necessary. The action was made in 1952. Does anyone know where I can get the part including the safety lever itself? Or is this part interchangable with a modern M70?

And no, the safeties from the post 64 rifles are not interchangeable with the pre 64 safeties. IIRC, there was a slight change in the safety on the pre-war/post-war models as well.

Out of curiosity, what is the serial number range of yours? Rounded to the nearest hundred or so. Mine is about 70,000 which was made in 1947. They post 64 models start at 700,000.

Interesting how this arose again - as an update this has become one of the most elusive parts I've ever tried to find. Sheesh I rebuilt an 1873 Trapdoor with less effort.
