    Sweet rifle!
What was wrong with the rails?

The bolt carrier was hitting the top of the gas tube/gas block, caiman ground down the rails to clearance the BC. Cycles like a champ now! Much more difficult build than the Romy,AMD or Egyptian, everything had to be massaged a little. But by far my favorite...so far.

              I love me some Yugo!
              Very nice.
Amazing what .5mm thickness difference does to the ridgity of a receiver isn't it.

                Nico,
Yes it is, it also makes it a pain to build, but that is all part of why it is my new favorite AK!!!

Can you tell me how your folding stock is fixed in place?

zealot - Nice meeting you as well, where is your ak pic??? Put that bad boy on here!!

flintlock - It is a piece of copper tubing cut to length (width of the folding stock assembly inside the receiver) then cut in half so that it is a half circle. It is then set onto the folding stock shaft (inside the receiver) and a hose clamp is tightened on to it.
I think that there is a picture of this on the Build party Tutorial sticky at the top of gunsmithing and how to. Hope this helps and didn't confuse you.
