Would these gloves be heat resistant? As in reaching in the park tank while hot safe?

They'll resist breaking down in the heat but you'll still get burned. There's no insulation inside. If it's just for safety, they'll be fine. I use latex gloves, not for my protection but to keep my skin oils off the parts while I'm setting them up on the stainless steel wires. -
The red gorilla gloves for $5 from home depot are what I use. When you can heat the barrel to the point of melting the gloves, you just KNOW they are well insulated (I have to replace them monthly after BP's.
)
