Geissele DMR Trigger help

I purchased a DMR trigger about 6 months ago and finally got around to installing it the other day. I was going to leave the set screws alone but I couldn't help myself. I adjusted the set screws and now I can't feel two distinct stages, I'm also a little worried that the seer engagement might be messed up as well. I've tried bringing the screws back to factory settings but can't seem to find the sweet spot.

Does anyone have experience with these triggers?

Maybe try looking at it from a different perspective. Stuff an eraser or something rubber in front of your hammer so it doesn't hit the web of the magazine well. Watch the hammer/and disconnectors movement as you slowly pull the trigger. The second stage you should feel is the back of the disconnector hook on the hammer touching the top/front of the disconnector housing on the trigger. Is your hammer dropping before it makes contact? If so you need to add sear engagement. Is it it making contact but you can't feel the second stage? If so add weight to the second stage. You might also want to try installing the trigger group without the trigger/hammer springs and putting forward pressure on it with a finger. That may make it easier to feel the distinction between the stages without the heavier springs pressure. (use the guide pins that came with your trigger so you don't wear out the receiver holes)

Wow, thank you for the detailed response. It's been couple days since I played with it so I'll try it again tonight without the spring and playing a little more attention to the action in my lower receiver.
