Recoil Pad Replacement

I have a BSA .270 that needs a new recoil pad. I cannot however find a ready made pad replacement for this model. I'd like to use a limbsaver pad as the rifle may be used by a younger hunter, however, I'm finding it hard to find any recoil pad for a BSA. Any ideas? Would this be a better project for a gunsmith?

I mount recoil pads for $30. I grind them to fit. Looks factory or better when I'm done.
